Commander Stark was a Sontaran Commander. He, and the rest of the Sontaran race, were part of the Alliance alongside the Daleks, Cybermen, Autons, Silurians and more of the Doctor's enemies planning to trap him in the Pandorica, believing him to be the one who is causing the cracks in the universe. He was destroyed when the TARDIS exploded nonetheless. The Eleventh Doctor later managed to prevent this, resulting in the Alliance never having been formed in the first place. (DW: The Big Bang)
