This article would be better titled as "water infection", or something of that sort. Throughout ''[[The Waters of Mars]]'', it is referred to as "the infection". The only references to the flood is when the Doctor says "one tiny little filter and then the flood" and "were fighting the flood". We should go with the more popular phrase. This is either virus or infection, probably best to go for water virus and water infection only refers to the effects on a host.--{{User:Skittles the hog/sig}} 10:30, July 14, 2011 (UTC)

That is true, though the official name in Doctor Who books is ''The Flood ''so we should keep it at the name the BBC uses. [[Special:Contributions/60.240.111.76|60.240.111.76]] 04:32, December 4, 2011 (UTC)

This article would be better titled as "water infection", or something of that sort. Throughout The Waters of Mars, it is referred to as "the infection". The only references to the flood is when the Doctor says "one tiny little filter and then the flood" and "were fighting the flood". We should go with the more popular phrase.
