Driver Evans was an officer in the British Army. He took part in the fight against the Great Intelligence and its robot Yeti in the London Underground. Evans was a member of Colonel Lethbridge Stewart's team. He was the only survivor other than the Colonel of a fight with the Yeti. Evans wanted to desert the Army, but the exit gate was locked. Evans always sang when scared.
