Quintus was the son of Caecilius and Metella and the brother of Evelina. He didn't seem bothered about his family's religion. He helped the Doctor twice. Firstly by throwing water on the Pyrovillian foot soldier, which seemed ready to incinerate the Doctor, the water extinguished the flame leaving only rock which collapsed. Quintus also took the Doctor to Lucius Petrus Dextrus's house. Quintus was concerned for Evelina's health which was bad due to her inhalation of Pyrovile dust. Quintus along with the rest of his family were saved from the eruption of Mount Vesuvius by the Doctor. Six months later, the Caecilius family is living in Rome and Quintus is studying to become a Doctor. He also follow the traditions/religion of his family more willingly as the new House Gods for the Caecilius' are the Doctor, Donna Noble and the TARDIS. (DW: The Fires of Pompeii)
