Dr. Kendrick was a scientist in the employ of John Lumic. He participated in the creation of a prototype of Lumic's Cybermen. He told Lumic he would inform Geneva of this new form of life despite his orders. Lumic had the prototype Cyberman kill him. (DW: Rise of the Cybermen)
