Sand Beasts were formidable-looking and aggressive creatures native to Dido.
History
Vicki tamed a Sand Beast and named it Sandy. Startled by its sudden appearance and aggressive manner, Barbara Wright, thinking it was a threat to Vicki, fired a flare gun at it, killing it. (DW: The Rescue)
