Vershinin is a Russian Soldier, Second in Command, and is first seen off the coast of Northumberland in a raft with a Russian Commando Unit lead by Captain Sorin. It is nearing the end of the Second World War. (DW: The Curse of Fenric) Vershinin arrives at Maiden's Point, where they meet Commander Millington who wants them to steal the core of the Ultima Machine. Vershinin is one of the soldiers who surround Ace and The Doctor after they are found by the body of another Russian Soldier. After an attack from the sea by a group of Haemovores, a desperate Commander Millington shoots Vershinin, whom survives by the hand of Captain Bates, who shoots and kills Millington.
