A fuel probe was a device used on human spacecraft to refuel. It joined with a refuelling mechanism in a fuel lock. Jo Grant, Ky and Cotton evaded death by escaping from Skybase One's fuel lock through the Hyperion's fuel probe. (TV: The Mutants)
