| The <B>American Sergeant</B> was stationed at the [[Snowcap]] South Pole Base in December [[1986]]. He was responsible for apprehending the [[First Doctor|Doctor]], [[Ben Jackson|Ben]] and [[Polly]] when they were found outisde the base. A short time later, while attempting to gain entry to the [[TARDIS]], the Sergeant and two of his colleagues were attacked and killed by three [[Cybermen]].
