The Dalek Battle Computer was a computer interface the Daleks used. The Renegade Daleks placed one on Earth in November 1963. As this Battle Computer required a human interface to act as a creative intelligence, a young child was selected and conditioned to obey the Daleks. (DW: Remembrance of the Daleks)
