Khnum was a ram-headed god in ancient Egypt. The Third Doctor showed a slide show at The Cloven Hoof that featured Khnum depicted with a solar disc above his horns and suggested that the image of horned gods was influenced by the Dæmons. (DW: The Dæmons) Countess Scarlioni viewed a scroll depicting Khnum holding an ankh, standing between Anubis and Scaroth, her husband. (DW: City of Death)
Behind the scenes
If it is correct that the 740 Osirians that defeated Sutekh were those named in the tomb of Thutmose III (DW: Pyramids of Mars), Khnum would be an Osirian.
