This woman was the mother of a young woman who was a victim of a Krafayis in Provence, 1890.

Biography

When the Eleventh Doctor, Amy Pond and Vincent van Gogh arrived, the mother saw Vincent was at hand to her daughter's death, called him a "madman" and blamed his madness for the death. She shouted for him to leave while she and other onlookers threw items at him, the Doctor and Amy. Later, on their way to a Church, Vincent, the Doctor and Amy encountered the mother again as she was walking alongside the coffin of her daughter. On top of the coffin were some sunflowers, a flower that would in the future become synonymous with Vincent van Gogh. (DW: Vincent and the Doctor)
