John Robson was the head of a Euro Sea Gas refinery.
Biography
Robson refused to believe the base was under attack by the Weed Creature, stubbornly insisting that the problems the refinery was experiencing were due to a mechanical fault. He believed the Second Doctor was a saboteur, and wouldn't listen to Frank Harris and Van Lutyens's advice to shut off the gas supply.
