Elric Penley was a scientist at Brittanicus Base in 5000. He strongly disagreed with Clent's over-reliance on computers and left the base to become a scavenger with Storr. He helped the Second Doctor defeat the Ice Warriors and reconciled with Clent. (DW: The Ice Warriors)
