Star Trek: The Next Generation received a crossover with Doctor Who in the form of Star Trek: The Next Generation/Doctor Who: Assimilation2, a comic mini-series by IDW Publishing that began publication on 30 May 2012 in North America. It was the first officially licensed crossover between Doctor Who and the Star Trek franchise.
