Eliot was a world tree that grew in the forest of Saga City. When Iris Wildthyme was young, she visited the tree and had a long chat with it about all the adventures she wished to embark on.
After Iris left the Obverse, the Clockworks uprooted Eliot and took him through the Ringpull and onto Hyspero. The Clockworks planted him in an underground city where he spent millennia alone.
When Iris returned to Hyspero and visited Eliot, he told her how to escape from the Clockworks and what she would need to defeat Anthony Marvelle. (IW: Wildthyme Beyond!)
