The Subwave Network is a network that links anyone and everyone who knows the Doctor and can help in a crisis such as the events that took place in (DW: The Stolen Earth).
The "Subwave Network" was founded by the Mr Copper foundation set up by Bayldon Copper sometime after (DW: Voyage of the Damned) events. Through an unknown reason The "Subwave Network" passed control to Harriet Jones. Harriet Jones used the network to communicate with Captain Jack Harkness, Gwen Cooper, Ianto Jones, Sarah Jane Smith and Martha Jones while Rose Tyler was able to watch but not communicate.
