The Diogenes Club was a type of gentleman club that was sometimes featured in several Sherlock Holmes books.
The Third Doctor was known to frequent the Diogenes Club, but was kicked out at one time when a future incarnation of himself by showing him the answer to the crossword he was doing, making the Third Doctor shout at him, and break the rules of silence. (NA: All-Consuming Fire)
