The Doorman was a male human who lived near the Farringham School for Boys in the early 20th century. He was fought in the Crimean War (1853-1856) and was outside the dance hall on 11 November 1913, asking for donations for the Veterans of the Crimea, a charity for the by then aged veterans of the war. The school's history master John Smith obliged him by making a donation as he entered the dance hall with Joan Redfern. However, Son of Mine vapourised him when he asked him for donations.
