Spider's Shadow was part of the one hundred and ninth monthly Doctor Who audio release produced by Big Finish Productions. It is the only single part story featuring the Seventh Doctor in the main role, the last single part story in which Sylvester McCoy portrayed the Seventh Doctor was in the 1996 television movie.
