Sontaran lasers are a form of energy weapon, a recent development of the Sontarans. Sontaran lasers were used to great effect in the Sontaran invasion of Earth in 2009 and proved a great weapon against UNIT. Despite being known as "lasers", their bolts travel slower than light.
