Kandalath was a many-mooned, beautiful planet with creatures lived in close harmony. Much of the planet was covered by seas so, in order for the Kandalath to move around and survive they had developed a symbiotic relationship with the Halohawks – food and shelter for the young in return for being willing beasts of burden allowing movement around the planet
Off-worlders were rare but welcome. Unfortunately on occasions the planet attracted the attention of poachers seeking out Halohawk eggs. (COMIC: Danger Flight)
