The Ugrakks were a humanoid species of fungus which resembled blue, bipedal elephants. They had power over other fungi on their world and could secrete deadly spores. Their natural enemies were the Zama flies.
They possessed sufficient technological abilities to bring the Doctor's TARDIS to them from quite far away. However, they could not leave their planet themselves, so kidnapped the Doctor to help them because their world was dying.
