On a Pedestal was the tenth short story in the Short Trips anthology Short Trips: The Quality of Leadership. It was written by Kathleen O. David. It featured the Second Doctor, Jamie McCrimmon and Victoria Waterfield.

Summary

When the TARDIS returns to the Scottish highlands, Jamie is framed for theft and finds himself on a death-sentence, the Doctor and Victorria befriend William Wallace and attempt to prove Jamie's innocence. But Sir Douglas is determind to see justice done, even if it's to the wrong person, and the Doctor soon discovers that if Jamie has any chance of surviving, someone else must die in his place...
