C. E. Webber (Cecil Edwin Webber) is sometimes credited (incorrectly) as the writer of TV: An Unearthly Child. However, Webber was instrumental in shaping the core structures of the program at an early stage, including such elements as the composition of the TARDIS crew and suggesting basic ideas for these characters.
