Bartholomew Kitchen was a Brigadier-General in the Crimean War. He was a bit mad because he had betrayed his country in an attempt to finish the war. He blamed The Doctor for it. He believed that he had killed the Doctor, but he had actually disappeared in a white box. A month later, he saw that box again after he shot Hex. (AUDIO: The Angel of Scutari)
