Deletion[[edit]]

For[[edit]]

  • Strong delete. It is nothing like Castrovalva or the Land of Fiction - all we have here is a name, not a place. Tardis1963 talk 00:53, April 8, 2012 (UTC)

Against[[edit]]

  • Strong keep.
czechout<staff />   15:29: Sat 07 Apr 2012  A thing that Rose made up is still a thing in the DWU. It's just as helpful to find out that it's not real in the DWU as to find out that it is real. I mean, we have articles for other fictional things, like the many inhabitants of the Land of Fiction, or any number of fictional characters, like Mickey Mouse. Rose is no less credible an author of fiction than Walt Disney or Charles Dickens or the Master of the Land of Fiction. Come to think of it, Castrovalva was an entire fiction, but we still have articles for the city, the species, and tons of individual Castrovalvans. I know that the suggestion of the deletion proposal cannot be that Rose is a less credible source of fiction than . . . Adric.
All those you've cited are clear fiction or clean things masquerading as reality.
But Rose was talking out of her arse, she was bluffing it through.
Rose wasn't creating the content in that situation unlike all the other things you've mentioned she was just rambling. :All those that you've mentioned have a reality unto themselves, but Rose's statement within the context they're presented aren't real or even fiction, not in the same way the others you've noted which have are more of a 'shared fiction' that other individuals acknowledge as existing. --Tangerineduel / talk 15:40, April 7, 2012 (UTC)
I'm going to go back on my last response.
Reading around at our articles I think it's useful to have articles about fictional things, things that are obviously fictional and made up as a contrast and something to hold up as "fictional" within the DWU. --Tangerineduel / talk 15:27, November 4, 2012 (UTC)
