Bert was a landlord who managed the Ten Bells pub in 1888.
On 30 September, he kicked Mary Kelly and her friend Mary Warner out of his pub. Kelly had been trying to stay the night or get money out of him. He told Amy Pond the place was closed. (COMIC: Ripper's Curse)
