Egypt is a country in northeastern Africa.

Around 5000 BC, the Osirians visited Egypt during their battle with Sutekh and were worshipped as gods (Pyramids of Mars). Scaroth was also worshipped by the Egyptians (City of Death).

Circa 2650 BC, the Doctor was pursued by the Daleks and the Monk to Egypt, during the construction of a pyramid (The Daleks' Master Plan).
