Commander Coroth was a Rhumon Republican soldier. He helped the Second Doctor and Jamie McCrimmon search in some caves for Victoria Waterfield, from whom they had been separated. They were attacked by grey fungus-like creatures, but managed to get away. However, Coroth crashed the escape vehicle in the process and was killed. (PROSE: Twilight of the Gods)
