Summary
Landing near a creepy alien castle the Doctor and Rose split up to explore but entering a room stuffed with mirrors, Rose is snatched by her evil reflection and finds herself in another dimension. It is a dimension full of Mirrorlings, creatures waiting for their chance to escape using the mirrors to take on a new life, and replace the originals, all of whom are stuck with Rose in this other dimension. Some for as long as fifty years! As the Mirrorling-Rose, prepares to leave in the TARDIS with the Doctor a band of locals catch up with them and warn them not to enter the house. The Doctor and Rose are told how, for years people had come out of the house somehow different people. When they realised it was something to do with mirrors they collected them all up and locked them in the house. Breaking the mirrors simply breaks any link and traps the people for ever. When Rose shows no interest in solving the mystery, prefering to leave in the TARDIS the Doctor knows something is wrong and returns to the house to find the real Rose. Using himself as bait he lures the Mirrorlings out of the mirrors stopping them from fully stepping through by using his sonic screwdriver. Calling Rose and all the others to escape through the mirrors the Doctor waits until they have all returned before using the sonic screwdriver to smash the mirrors and thereby returning the Mirrorlings to their own dimension.

Notes
- The DWAM comic strip adventures were very much aimed at a younger audience and the artwork and colours was bold and bright reflecting the tone of the magazine.
- Self contained one part stories were the norm in the early issues later being expanded to two-parters.
