Robert Mammone was the writer of the Short Trips short story Roses, a sequel to the Doctor Who television story The Daleks' Master Plan and prequel to the Doctor Who television story The Five Doctors. According to him, he sent it to the magazine and they accepted it, as well as giving him a free copy of DWM 214. [1]
