Professor Peach (first name Gerald) was one of the guests at the weekend party hosted by Lady Clemency Eddison in 1926.

He had discovered that Lady Eddison had had a son in secret that she had given up 40 years prior to these events. It turned out to be the Reverend Arnold Golightly, who was actually a vespiform. After confirming to himself about Clemency's secret child Golightly entered the library and became his true self and murdered the professor with a piece of lead piping. (DW: The Unicorn and the Wasp)

His death wasn't mourned by the other guests who still managed to take dinner as they were british and moneyed.
