Richard Briers (14 January 1934-17 February 2013) played the Chief Caretaker in the Doctor Who story Paradise Towers and Henry Parker in the Torchwood story A Day in the Death. He is best known for playing Tom Good in the BBC television series "The Good Life" or "Good Neighbors" as it's known in America. Ann Davies is his widow.
