Steve Wallace was a Park Vale Comprehensive School student who knew Clyde Langer.

Steve started to shout in class about Luke Smith entering the science competition, demonstrating the effectiveness of Mr, Cunningham's discipline. Clyde came to him when Dave Finn and Tony Warner vanished, but Steve said he and his father hated journalists.
