The Rexel system, also known as the Rexel planetary configuration, was a binary star system consisting of fourteen planets. The fourth planet, Rexel IV, was home to the Carrionites before their demise. (TV: The Shakespeare Code)
The twin pulsars of Rexel were visible from Olleril until light pollution from Empire City made the stars invisible. This suggests that the Rexel system was in the Pristatrek Galaxy. (PROSE: Tragedy Day)
Behind the scenes
- Doctor Who: The Encyclopedia states that Shadmoch was also within the Rexel system.
