Tiaaanamat was a large inhabited asteroid, orbiting the planet Akhaten. The asteroid was populated primarily by species from Akhaten's seven neighbouring planets; Hooloovoo, Pan-babylonians, Ultramancers etc.
Tiaaanamat also played host to the famous Festival of Offerings, a millenial choral ceremony held when the planet's rings align that attracted pilgrims from far and wide.
The Eleventh Doctor and Clara Oswald visited the vast, winding markets of Tiaaanamat, as he had done previously in his First incarnation, with his granddaughter Susan Foreman.
