The tenth season of Doctor Who ran between 30th December 1972 and 23rd June 1973. It consisted of 5 serials, and 26 episodes. William Hartnell returned in a cameo as the First Doctor and Patrick Troughton in a more substantial role as the Second Doctor in the tenth anniversary story The Three Doctors.
