Title cards for The Sarah Jane Adventures share much in common with the title cards of the 1963 version of Doctor Who, in that they display a serial title and episode number. All episodes have exactly the same style of title card, save for the very first adventure, Invasion of the Bane. The style established in series 1 was used throughout, making it fairly redundant to show more than just the initial three episodes.
Invasion of the Bane is the only story that has a title card different from the rest of the series. Because it had only one part, the writer credit was brought underneath the title — a position reserved in all other episodes for the part number.
