Lloyd Kingsley-Sayle was the producer of a film about the Cybermen invasion of Earth in the 1970s.

The Second Doctor posed as the science adviser for the film in order to keep the film from revealing too much information about UNIT. The Doctor also made friends with Lloyd's seven-year-old daughter Kate. Lloyd confided to the Doctor that she didn't make friends easily and appreciated that the Doctor knew how to relate to her.
