Sir Percival Flint was the owner of a tin mine in Cornwall and an amateur archaeologist. He was the ancestor of Sir Archibald Flint.
In 1783, when Flint attempted to excavate the tombs at Lanyon Moor, a diabolic, shrieking wind drove his workers away. (AUDIO: The Spectre of Lanyon Moor)
