| '''Control''' was an alien from space who, together with [[Josiah Samuel Smith]], lived aboard [[Light's ship]]. [[Light]] has been traveling the universe [[Catalog of life| Cataloging]] all the life he finds. Control is aboard Light's ship when it lands at [[Gabriel Chase]] in victorian times. Light is asleep and Josiah goes off to survey the life. Control is left in a room with two [[Husks]]. She soon comes out and, due to being on earth, takes on the form of a human female. She strikes up a relationship with [[Redvers Fenn-Cooper]], and Josiah's plan to kill [[Queen Victoria]] is thwarted as instead of Redvers and Josiah going to the palace with the invitations, Redvers chooses to take Control. During her time as the Control aboard Light's ship she wanted freedom but when it was granted she was unsure whether she liked it.
