The Boeshane Peninsula was the place, in the 51st century where Captain Jack Harkness grew up and lived with his family: his mother, his father and his brother Gray. (TW: Adam). Here, he was nicknamed the "Face of Boe". (DW: Last of the Time Lords)

The Peninsula was mostly grassy sand dunes and beaches. The inhabitants lived in a large building cluster at the edge. Most of the inhabitants were killed when the "most horrible creatures imaginable" invaded the Peninsula. Some of the few survivors were Jack Harkness and his mother. (TW: Adam) The identity and nature of these creatures has yet to be revealed.

Jack's younger brother, Gray is also a suvivor but is now dry-frozen in Torchwood 3 for his attempt to torture Jack and harm the other Torchwood members.

The people of the Boeshane Peninsula appear to have North American accents.
