Neve McIntosh Played the recurring character Madam Vastra during the run of the Eleventh Doctor. She also played Alaya and Restac in the Series 5 two parter TV: The Hungry Earth/ Cold Blood.

She is best known to fantasy fans for playing Lady Fuchsia in the 2000 miniseries Gormenghast. In the autumn of 2010 she co-starred in the BBC miniseries Single Father alongside David Tennant and Suranne Jones.

In 2012, she narrated the audio book version of PROSE: Dark Horizons.
