Totem was the first short story in the Short Trips anthology More Short Trips. It was written by Tara Samms. It featured the Eighth Doctor.
Summary
The Doctor wants to atone for the crimes of his past selves and begins to live with a poor Mexican farmwoman and doing hard labour on her homestead. One day while digging, the Doctor finds the body of her missing husband and concludes that he was murdered. The Doctor tells Senora Panstedas what happened to her husband and it gives her some closure. After her husband's funeral, the Doctor leaves.
