Akido is not karate
Akido and karate are fundamentally different. It's perfectly possible to learn both. Why should we assume that one is simply the secondary name of the other? In The Mind of Evil part two, the Doctor puts an obviously aggressive move on Mike Yates, then calls it "Venusian karate". Anyone got a problem with splitting the article?

- In the real world, karate and aikido are both Japanese. So I see no problem with saying that the Venusians have the two separate arts of aikido and karate. Shambala108 ☎ 16:13, June 2, 2013 (UTC)
