Hank was a stagecoach driver in 19th century California.

Hank was driving two passengers, Lola Montez and Walter Crabtree, when John Pengelly ran in front of the coach. The horses pulled up, and Hank fell off the coach. The Sixth Doctor arrived on the scene and diagnosed Hank with a concussion. Lola and Walter put Hank in the coach, and Lola drove the rest of the way to Ajax Camp. (PROSE: Whiskey and Water)
