The Nomed Zone was a stronghold of the Siros on the planet Belstar during their war with the Debans. Its conditions were inimical to the Debans, and so it could be safely unguarded by the Siros. Inside it was the Tower of Selsor, which contained the Crypt of Pimo, within which was the blue rock. The Sixth Doctor and Peri Brown were once sent by the Deban leader to zone in search of the blue rock. During their perilous journey, the Doctor noted that Nomed was merely Demon spelt backwards. (PROSE: Battle Planet)
