''' Private Ross Jenkins''' was an [[UNIT]] soldier during [[Operation Blue Sky]], he is first seen awaiting the company of [[Tenth Doctor|the Doctor]] as he prepared a [[UNIT]] vehicle for transport. He drove [[Tenth Doctor|the Doctor]] to the [[Rattigan Academy]], where they encountered [[Luke Rattigan]] and [[Staal|General Staal]]. Ross claimed that Staal looked like a baked [[potato]]. After losing control of an [[ATMOS]]-controlled UNIT vehicle, he and The Doctor parted ways so that Jenkins could aquire another ATMOS-free vehicle to return them to UNIT's temporary headquarters. ([[DW]]: ''[[The Sontaran Stratagem]]''). Ross acquires a vehicle and takes [[Tenth Doctor|the Doctor]] and [[Donna Noble]] back to [[UNIT HQ]]. ([[DW]]: ''[[The Poison Sky]]''). Later, the [[Sontarans]] invade the [[ATMOS]] complex and slaughter [[UNIT]] troops. Ross is with a small group of UNIT soldiers when the Sontarans start to appear. Instantly , the Sontarans kill all of the soldiers that Ross was with. Ross just has enough time to warn the Doctor that UNIT's bullets cannot harm the sontarans before Skorr shoots him. Mace tries to contact him but Ross is already dead. The Doctor is extremely angered at this death and shouts at Mace to evacuate the remaining troops. Mace does this and as a result Ross' death was not in vain and he dies a hero. Later in the battle , Ross Jenkins is avenged by Mace when he shoots Skorr with a revolver.

Private Ross Jenkins, code-named Greyhound 40, was an UNIT soldier during Operation Blue Sky.

Profile

Jenkins acted as the Doctor's excort and driver as the former investigated the Rattigan Academy, where both they encountered Luke Rattigan and the Sonaran General Staal. After losing control of an ATMOS-controlled UNIT vehicle, he and The Doctor parted ways so that Jenkins could aquire another ATMOS-free vehicle to return them to UNIT's temporary headquarters.
