Hubert Rees (b. 1928-d. 20 October 2009[1]) appeared in several Doctor Who stories: as the Chief Engineer in Fury from the Deep, Captain Ransom in The War Games, and John Stevenson in The Seeds of Doom.

Rees appeared in both the stage (1957) and screen (1973) adaptations of Under Milk Wood. He worked with Douglas Camfield prior to The Seeds of Doom in Paul Temple (1969) and Private Eye (1971). Camfield cast him in The Sweeney (1975) and again in The Sweeney 2 (1978). He appeared in Tom Baker's Sherlock Holmes (1982).
